HOT OCTOPUSS KURVE G-SPOT VIBRATOR REVIEW (BLOG)
What’s good, babes and welcome to another instalment of *poses* Scotty’s Fancy Blogs! The sun is shining, the skreets are opening and (as usual) so are my legs. This time it’s for the latest addition to the Hot Octopuss sex toy roster; the new Kurve G-Spot Vibrator, equipped with their patented dual-motor Treble & Bass Technology. I won’t say too much just yet, but trust and believe, this is what the gworls never knew they needed.
If you guys have been following me for a hot minute, you will know that I am no stranger to the award-winning, luxury British-owned brand (a passion project founded by two besties -we love to see friends win together). I tested their DiGit Finger Vibrator over a year ago and if you watch my weekly Sunday IG lives you will have most definitely seen me talking about their couples toy, the Pulse Duo Lux. When they announced that were dropping some new hot shit, my expectations were high and I can honestly say that the Kurve did not disappoint.
If you are new here and have never read/watched one of my reviews before, this is how it goes; I’ll run you through the specs of the toy, let you know how I found it, give you my final thoughts and round it off with my 5 star rating system. Get it? Got it? Good!

My Experience
First and foremost, I have to give it up one time for the one time for the PACKAGING. We all know that I love a nice bit of packaging (it’s not just what you give me, it’s also how you give it to me) and if you guys caught the unboxing of the Kurve on my IG stories, you would have seen me having a heartfelt moment over the fact that there are two beautiful, dark skinned black women (even one with an afro) on the top of the box.
This was a whole moment for me. We don’t see this often enough in the sexual wellness industry, so when brands actually make the conscious effort to be inclusive, I believe in giving them their flowers. You guys LOVED the packaging moment too (it’s the highest amount of click-throughs on a sexual wellness brand tag that I’ve seen on my IG stories to date). We have no choice but to stan!
Inside the box you get a manual, a USB charger cable (we love -battery operated toys fi dead!), a satin storage bag (storage bags for the win) and of course -le Kurve!
Let’s get into the Kurve, betch. The design is plum and gold, giving us steam punk/rocker chic. I think this is the most ‘Hot Octupussy’ looking toy yet. Their aesthetic very much leans towards the aforementioned -rebellious and a lil eccentric, with enough polish to keep it all top shelf. The ergonomic shaft of the Kurve was also a standout for me. The tip of it was not what I expected AT ALL. The hump at the tip of it is squishy, like a sexy marshmallow that does something quite delicious to the sensations, once you put it to use. I dare you not to sit there squeezing it and smiling…unless of course you are an adult and unlike myself, these trivial delights do not entertain you lol.
Along the front of the handle of the Kurve are six gold buttons in two vertical rows. 2 + buttons and 2 – buttons control the treble intensity on the left side, and the right side controls the bass intensity. There are also two circles at the bottom. The raised one on the left turns the Kurve off and the sunken one on the right changes the vibration funtions. I will admit that with all these buttons, I worried about operating it whilst using it, but my worries were quickly put to bed once I gave it a go. Something that Hot Octopuss is good at, is creating thoughtful designs that consider ease of use for customers of all abilities. As the buttons are raised, it’s not hard to navigate what you want it to do.
My libido is in one of those weird phases where I’m not particularly horny, but light touching can get me going as if I have been roasting for timeeeee (she’s easy lol). I settled into bed and held down the + button on the ‘Bass’ side for 3 seconds and the motor in the tip buzzed to life. The vibrations are rumbly and deep (like a bass), yet quiet enough for you not to worry that someone may overhear it. Once on, the + and – buttons control the intensity of the motor they are assigned to. The vibrations are strong, but not hella intense (the sign of a quality toy that will not desensitise your pussoir if you use it a lot), made even more balanced out by the squishy tip, which spreads the vibrations evenly across its surface. I found this a great option to warm myself up with, by pressing it against my clitoris. When I craved more intensity, I simply turned it up.
Once I reached the point where I needed more stimulation, I inserted it inside of myself, rested the squishy hump against my g-spot and pressed the + button on the ‘Treble’ side.
Oh. My. Goodness!
What a clever combination. The motor for the treble is lower down in the shaft, which brings the entire instrument to life. If the bass is deep and rumbly, then the treble is sharp and buzzing, the perfect blend to deliver a strong sensation that isn’t overpowering and allows you to build your arousal without having your orgasm ripped from you. I used shallow thrusting motions to keep the stimulation of the squishy hump focused on my g-spot, upping the intensity of both motors to my liking (which you can control separately to create your desired combination). I then decided to see what this baby was made of and flicked through the vibrational pattern settings, which is controlled by the sunken circle button on the right side.
My body is very sometime-ish when it comes to evoking penetration-only orgasms -something that is common for many women. The sure-fire way for me to climax is through clitoral stimulation, so during my trials, I alternated between using the Kurve directly on my clitoris or fucking my g-spot with the toy whilst using my hands on my clit. Having it inserted whilst I stimulated myself gave me an earth shattering, leg quaking, back arching, eyes-wide-shut-mouth-wide-open blended orgasm, whereas simply stimulating my clitoris with the toy made me arrive sooner than I expected. The soft tip is disarming; I didn’t know I was going to cum until I came. It has this way of making the pressure build so eloquently that you have no choice but to surrender to your beautiful explosion…this sounds very romantic lol. I’ve picked my fictional erotic writing back up again so that’s probably why, but nevertheless , it’s as good as I say it is.
To turn it off, press and hold the raised circle button for 3 seconds (then automatically fall asleep because what else can you do after a great orgasm?).
Final Thoughts
The Kurve is my FAVOURITE Hot Octopuss toy to date! Great packaging, eclectic design, completely customisable with harmonic vibrations from the Treble and Bass motors, it’s quiet, USB rechargeable and easy to use.
As I said, penetration-focused toys take a bit more work for me, as I require clitoral stimulation most of the time, but if penetration is your gig, this is a fucking brilliant option and even if it’s not, there are no rules on how you can use this -it gives one hell of an orgasm! If Hot Octopuss ever release a rabbit vibe (one that simultaneously stimulates your clitoris and g-spot) I know that it will be ELITE because their signature rumbly vibrations are top tier. For these reasons, I will give it a strong 4/5 stars. The Kurve is worth your time.
If you would like to get your hands and other fancy bits on it, the Kurve comes in at £99 (issa luxury toy darling *clinks champagne flutes*) and you can get it here.
I hope you all found this review useful and thank you to Hot Octopuss for partnering with me on this review (please note that this does not affect my review in any way)
Until next time my beautiful unicorns of sunshine and wonderment, take care of yourselves xx
